No checklist — realistic days, with the right pace, good connections between cities, and experiences that are truly worth the trip.
The express version for a stopover or a tight schedule. Sunrise, the small circuit, the grand circuit, and Banteay Srei — the best temples-to-fatigue ratio.
See the itinerary →Angkor in 2 days, Phnom Penh in 2 days, 1 day of transit. The two must-sees for a short week.
See the itinerary →Angkor (3 days) + Phnom Penh (3 days) + a travel day. The two must-sees, done properly, without rushing — a strong first trip.
See the itinerary →Angkor, Battambang, Phnom Penh, Kampot, Koh Rong. A full loop, with quieter roads and lesser-known stops.
See the itinerary →The grand tour plus Mondulkiri (elephants, forest, Bunong communities) and Ratanakiri (volcanic lake). The Cambodia few visitors see.
See the itinerary →The Mekong, the Heritage Tour, Kanika, the Royal Palace, museums, SOSORO, the Russian and Central Markets, a spa — a realistic pace so Phnom Penh is not a straight line of sights.
See the itinerary →Every traveller has a pace. These are our recommendations by trip length and what you want from it.
Stay in Siem Reap. Angkor needs at least 3 days if you do not want to leave frustrated. Do not spend the short trip in transit.
The Siem Reap–Phnom Penh axis is the must. With 10 days, add Kampot and Koh Rong — a good mix of temples, nature, and beach.
Add Battambang for the arts, Mondulkiri for jungle and elephants. The northeast opens a completely different Cambodia.
Cover the essentials: visa, budget, insurance, a SIM card, and recommended vaccines.
