La Cabane (also known as La Cuisine des Filles) is a highly-rated Franco-Khmer bistro run by women, nestled in the trendy Wat Bo area of Siem Reap. Since its opening in 2012, under the direction of Anne-Sophie, it has offered a warm bourgeois-bohemian Parisian atmosphere with a dedicated and professional all-female team.
Culinary Concept. The menu elegantly fuses comforting French classics with authentic Khmer flavours, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients purchased each morning. French offerings include Kampot pepper terrine, tartiflette, beef tongue, and premium foie gras. From Cambodia, the menu boasts beloved traditional dishes like amok fish. Exceptional artisanal pastries (tarts and desserts ~4 USD) are available, along with custom cakes for celebrations. The generous wine cellar and cosy bar on the first floor make it perfect for an aperitif.
Ambiance & Spaces. The new location offers various experiences in a meticulously decorated space with high ceilings and vintage posters: an air-conditioned dining room for lunch, a covered garden terrace at the back, and a lounge bar on the first floor ideal for dates or solo visits.
Practical Information. Located on Street 26, Wat Bo Road, Siem Reap (just a few streets from the bustling tourist centre). Open from Tuesday to Sunday, 11am–9pm (closed on Monday).
