Gelato Lab

Gelato Lab (officially Gelato and Coffee Lab) is a beloved artisan ice cream shop nestled in a charming alley in the heart of Krong Siem Reap, close to the Old Market and just a stone's throw from Pub Street. Often hailed as the go-to place for authentic Italian desserts in the city.

Ice Cream Concept. The menu is slowly prepared each morning: Italian techniques, high-end equipment, and 100% natural and organic ingredients — free from preservatives, colourings, or stabilisers. The base is made with fresh whole milk imported from Thailand. With up to 20 rotating flavours: salted caramel, organic coconut, 70% Venezuelan dark chocolate, pistachio, stracciatella, and tiramisu. There are lactose-free sorbets (mango, passion fruit, lemon-mint) and gluten-free options.

Coffee & Beverages. Premium coffee: roasted from natural beans sourced from Thailand and Sumatra. Thick milkshakes with ice cream, iced lattes, and coffee cocktails to kick off your evening.

Atmosphere. The cosy industrial style features exposed bricks, modern furniture, and a quiet mezzanine. There’s air conditioning and a few terrace tables for street watching. Popular flavours can sometimes run out by the evening — it’s best to visit during the day.
