Abacus Restaurant
A well-known institution in Cambodia, Abacus Restaurant is now exclusively located in Siem Reap, set in a refined tropical environment.
Abacus Restaurant is now exclusively established in Siem Reap. While it once had a location in Phnom Penh, the current main establishment is situated north of the city centre, offering high-end French gastronomy.
The menu features classics and fusion inspirations: Burgundy snails ($9.50), pan-seared foie gras ($12), and Australian beef steaks starting from $18. The restaurant also hosts regular events, including oyster nights on Fridays and a Sunday buffet brunch ($27 per adult), complete with a children's play area.
The ambiance is one of its major assets: a tropical garden terrace for a romantic dinner, air-conditioned private rooms for groups of up to 14, and a service renowned for its professionalism, often compared to Parisian standards.
Opening hours (2026): daily from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM and 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Reservations are highly recommended via the official website or by phone.
Dining at Abacus Restaurant immerses you in a refined tropical setting while indulging in French classics like pan-seared foie gras, all within a romantic garden terrace atmosphere. It's truly a unique experience in Siem Reap, far removed from the usual restaurant clichés.
