Experience the rich flavours of WAT Chocolate, Cambodia's first bean-to-bar chocolatier, located in Siem Reap.

WAT Chocolate (also known as Temple of Cacao) is Cambodia's first artisanal bean-to-bar company. Founded by a French expatriate couple, it transforms single-origin cacao sourced directly from independent producers in Mondulkiri and Ratanakiri. Their recipes are palm oil-free, soy-free, vegan, and ethical.

The Three Locations in Siem Reap

Factory (Angkor Night Market St) — production workshop. No retail sales on-site (hygiene): factory tours and workshops by reservation only. Open Mon–Sat. 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Store & Café — Aviary Square (Preah Sangreach Tep Vong St): trendy shop offering artisanal drinks, pastries, and gifts. Open daily 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Store & Café — Riverside (Pokambar Ave): waterfront setting for on-site tasting. Open daily 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM.

Experiences

Guided Factory Tour (~1 hour, multilingual): roasting, grinding, conching, tempering, moulding — enjoy dark chocolate tastings at the end. Tour slots Mon–Sat 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM (closed Sunday). “Design Your Own Bar” Workshop: create your own chocolate bar (Kampot pepper, Kep sea salt, Mondulkiri cashews…).
