Sombok Restaurant

Upscale Khmer fine dining on Sisowath Quay: beautifully plated authentic Cambodian cuisine by executive chef Kimsan Pol and an all-female team.

Sombok Restaurant is one of Phnom Penh's leading fine-dining addresses. Led by executive chef Kimsan Pol (co-creator of Embassy in Siem Reap), it celebrates authentic Khmer gastronomy in sophisticated, artful presentations, with an all-female kitchen and front-of-house team.

The « nest » concept. Sombok means nest in Khmer — warmth, care, and nourishment. The interior, curated by architect Kimseng Ouk, features golden silk accents, original artwork, and large windows onto the lively Sisowath riverside promenade — an air-conditioned haven above the Mekong.

Menu. Fresh provincial ingredients plus select luxury imports (Petrossian caviar, fine wines). Signatures include fish amok, grilled salmon in banana leaf, Japanese scallop & foie gras, and grilled beef with traditional prahok red-ant sauce. Monthly rotating multi-course set menus and an extensive vegetarian / vegan selection.
