Independent microbrewery and beer gardens in Phnom Penh since 2016: Bash Brewing, 100% natural beer brewed on site under German purity law.
Hops is Cambodia's first independent international craft brewery (since 2016), home of Bash Brewing. A German brewmaster produces 100% natural beer on site — malt, hops, yeast and water only, following the 500-year-old Reinheitsgebot.
Two main Phnom Penh locations (plus an Eden Mall outpost):
- Hops Central (BKK) — vibrant flagship on Street 228: brewery, large garden, pool tables, darts.
- Hops Villa (Tuol Kork) — renovated Art Deco villa in lush gardens, quieter atmosphere.
House beers (around USD 4–6): Gold Angel (lager), Amber Witch (wheat), Bash IPA, Red Fury (red ale). Taster boards (4–5 beers): USD 9.50–11.
Food: giant pretzels, crispy pork knuckle, Jäger Schnitzel, beer-battered fish & chips. Free-Flow Friday BBQ (6–10 PM): grill buffet USD 25, unlimited beer USD 19, combo USD 35. Weekend tapas brunch (11 AM–4 PM): from USD 19.50 (soft drinks) or USD 29 with unlimited beer.
Vibe: air-conditioned dining, terraces, private rooms, green gardens, 3 tournament slate pool tables, electronic darts, Monday night tournaments. Dog-friendly outdoors, child-friendly with highchairs, free parking. Cards and mobile payments accepted.
