Baitong Hotel & Resort opened in 2019 at No. 10, Street 282, Samdach Louis Em, in BKK1. Baitong means green in Khmer. The façade is a vertical garden, and the pool is built like a waterfall.
Rooms
King rooms are 37 m², twin rooms 35 m², with a balcony of about 5 m². Views are city, garden or pool. There is also a suite, and a room with a private jacuzzi and steam room.
In the hotel
The glass-bottom pool is open from 6 am to 5 pm. A suspended jacuzzi spills into the pool below, from 8 am to 10 pm. Breakfast runs from 6 am to 10:30 am. Baitong Cafe serves coffee from Mondulkiri. Lantern, the rooftop restaurant and bar, is open from 5 pm to 11 pm. The spa takes guests from 10 am to 11 pm. There is a gym and an electric-car charger.
Around the hotel
Street 282 sits in the middle of BKK1. Cafés and restaurants are on foot. Tuol Sleng is about a twenty-minute walk.
On Street 282 the façade is a vertical garden. Breakfast is in front of the plants, and in the evening we go up to Lantern for the sunset.
