Backyard Cafe is a healthy cafe at 32E, Street 240, near the Royal Palace. Open every day from 7 am to 9 pm, it serves flexitarian food: vegan, vegetarian, raw, gluten-free and sugar-free options, and fish as well.
The menu
The house has been open since 2015 and says it cooks seasonal, local, organically grown ingredients. On the published menu: tropical sea bass $9.50, lentil bolognese $7.50, salmon teriyaki $9.50, Abundance Bowl and Power Bowl $8, Mediterranean falafel bowl $7.50, carrot soup $6.50, pumpkin and peanut soup $6.50. The site also names açaí bowls, avocado toast, power pancakes, omelets, cold-pressed juices and coffee.
