Les meilleurs Restaurants du Cambodge

Armand's — The Bistro

An intimate French bistro renowned for its cognac-flambéed steaks and the warm welcome from chef Armand Gerbie, just steps from the riverside in Phnom Penh.

Armand's — The Bistro is one of the most cherished French dining spots in Phnom Penh, known for serving some of the best steaks in Cambodia. The charismatic Franco-Khmer chef and host Armand Gerbie blends the atmosphere of a traditional Parisian bistro with spectacular and personalised table service.

The Culinary Experience

Signature Steaks: The restaurant is famous for its high-quality imported beef. Many cuts — Tournedos Rossini, Kampot pepper steak — are flambéed at the table by Armand himself.

Classic French Menu: An authentic and deliberately concise menu displayed on wall-mounted slates. You’ll find onion soup, foie gras, duck breast, and baked Alaska.

Wines & Spirits: A thoughtful selection of wines, featuring excellent house reds, complemented by cognacs and armagnacs for a fine finish.

Atmosphere

A very intimate setting (around 12 covers and 4 bar seats), with white tablecloths, dark wood panelling, and jazz playing softly in the background. Armand moves between tables to offer advice and banter in French, English, and Khmer.

Reservations are highly recommended due to the limited seating. Cash payment only — be sure to bring cash, as cards are generally not accepted.
