Armand's — The Bistro

Armand’s — The Bistro is a French restaurant in Phnom Penh, run by chef Armand Gerbie since 2009. The address is 33, Street 108. The house presents itself as a grill bistro: the menu is built around beef, served at night in a room of white tablecloths and table lamps.

The menu

The signatures are tournedos Rossini ($38), chateaubriand with béarnaise or Roquefort ($33) and Kampot pepper steak ($33). Black Angus ribeye is $29. Côte de bœuf is $39 for one and $78 for two. The house also describes its tenderloin as flambéed. Also on the card: duck confit, mi-cuit foie gras, French onion soup, mussels marinière and oysters. Desserts include crème brûlée and baked Alaska.
