Angkor Golf Resort
Angkor Golf Resort is one of Cambodia's most renowned golf courses, designed by Sir Nick Faldo and opened in 2008.
Angkor Golf Resort is considered one of the best golf courses in Cambodia and Southeast Asia. Located in Siem Reap, this 18-hole (Par 72) course spans over 7,200 yards and was designed by the legendary Sir Nick Faldo, featuring a strategic layout accessible to various skill levels.
The course uses Paspalum grass, valued for its heat resistance and consistent roll quality throughout the year. The terrain is known for its maintenance, well-placed bunkers, and water hazards present on most holes.
Facilities include a high-end clubhouse (changing rooms, Pro Shop, restaurant-bar with views), a driving range of about 300 metres, and approach areas with bunkers for warming up. Caddy service is mandatory and generally very professional.
Practical information: located on National Road 6, about 10 minutes by car from Siem Reap International Airport and the city centre. Open daily from 06:00 to 18:00. Indicative green fees for 18 holes: around 120 to 165 USD (often including caddy and cart). Sunset rates are often available after 14:30. Contact: +855 63 767 688.
