Ampov Distillery
Welcome to Ampov Distillery, Cambodia's first artisanal distillery dedicated to pure cane juice rum, where the journey goes from field to bottle.
Founded in 2021 by a French entrepreneur, Ampov Distillery is located south of Phnom Penh and stands out as a pioneer of agricultural rum in Cambodia. Unlike the more common molasses rums found in Asia, Ampov works with locally harvested cane, pressed on the same day.
The range includes white rums (42° and 55°) as well as amber rums aged in French oak barrels that previously held Cognac, Porto, or Vino Santo. The production follows a 100% natural philosophy: no added sugar, no additives, no colourings.
The distillery offers immersive tours and tastings to discover all the steps, from cane pressing to distillation in French copper stills. Visits are by appointment only.
