Night bus or day bus (7h) to Sen Monorom, the capital of Mondulkiri province.

Day 3 — Elephant Sanctuary
Ethical visit to a wild elephant sanctuary — observation, walking in the forest with the herds.

Day 4 — Bou Sraa Waterfalls
The largest waterfalls in Cambodia (42m high) in the heart of the Mondulkiri jungle.

Day 5 — Bunong Villages & Jungle Trek
Meet the Bunong ethnic minority, trek through primary jungle.

Day 6 — Route to Kratié
Bus or moto-taxi from Sen Monorom to Kratié (5–6h). Arrival and exploration of the Mekong riverside.

Day 7 — Irrawaddy Dolphins at Kampi
Boat trip to Kampi to observe the rare Irrawaddy dolphins of the Mekong.

Day 8 — Transit in Phnom Penh
Arrival in Phnom Penh in the evening. Overnight stay before departing for the islands.

Day 9 — Bus + Ferry → Koh Rong
Morning bus from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville (4h), then ferry to Koh Rong Village.

Day 10 — Koh Rong — Long Beach
Huge and almost deserted beach. Snorkeling, kayaking, exploring the interior jungle.

Day 11 — Koh Rong Sanloem — Excursion
Day trip to Koh Rong Sanloem (20 min ferry): Saracen Bay and snorkeling.
