Discover the flagship store of the Cambodian eco-fashion brand Smateria, where Italian design meets Khmer craftsmanship in vibrant, upcycled bags and accessories.
Smateria is a social enterprise with Italian design and Cambodian production, founded in 2006 by Elisa Lion and Jennifer Morellato. The name means transforming materials and giving them new life — recycled/upcycled bags and accessories with a colourful urban aesthetic.
Collections. NET: reused fishing nets (totes, pouches, cases). IKI: custom vegan fabric made from recycled plastic bags. Laptop sleeves, passport pouches, and sturdy travel bags.
Ethical micro-factory. WFTO certified in Phnom Penh — ~75% women artisans, fair wages, double maternity leave, health insurance, and free on-site childcare. Integrated production from A to Z.
