Siem Reap Booyoung Country Club

A championship 18-hole course designed by Kentaro Sato in 2009, the Siem Reap Booyoung Country Club offers a unique parkland layout over 7,396 yards, influenced by Korean resort style.

Siem Reap Booyoung Country Club (formerly Angkor Lake Resort) is an 18-hole championship course located in Siem Reap, about 12 km east of the city centre on National Road 6 towards the Bakong temple. Designed by Kentaro Sato in 2009, this par 72, 7,396 yards course features a flat yet strategic layout with large undulating greens, severe bunkers, and water hazards on several fairways.

Course

This unique routing includes a challenging opening par 5 and the toughest par 4s at the 9th and 18th holes. The course has an open parkland style and a distinct Korean resort atmosphere—comparable to Phokeethra (water features, heritage) and Angkor Golf Resort (Nick Faldo).

Club & Rates

The club boasts a spacious Korean clubhouse, pro shop, changing rooms, practice facilities, and putting greens. The Lake View Restaurant offers Khmer, Western, and Korean cuisine. Stay & Play packages are available right on the fairways. Official walking rates can be found on siemreapbooyoung.com: 110 USD (green fee + caddie for 2 players + shared buggy) or 120 USD (single buggy). Stay & Play packages start from around 135 USD/golfer in high season. Third-party operators may offer rates around 105–110 USD during the week.

Booyoung is the bright and spacious course you choose when Phokeethra seems daunting with its water hazards. With demanding greens and a quirky Korean resort vibe, the value for a 7,400-yard championship course is surprisingly good.
