Pavilion

Pavilion is a hotel in Phnom Penh, in the Chaktomuk quarter, a few minutes' walk from the Royal Palace and Wat Botum. The website describes four restored period villas, with 36 rooms and suites, two swimming pools and gardens. It opened on 18 August 2006, at first with 10 rooms.

All 36 rooms and suites are different. The website lists indicative rates until 14 November 2026. Breakfast is included with most rates: double from 79 USD (15 to 23 m²), twin from 83 USD, superior from 86 USD, studio from 102 USD, deluxe with balcony from 108 USD, suite from 124 USD, room with a private jacuzzi from 127 USD, room with a 6 × 3 m private pool from 140 USD. Extra bed: 20 USD per night, breakfast included.

Facilities

Two swimming pools, gardens and a poolside restaurant. Breakfast is à la carte, with Western and Khmer dishes. The rooms described have Wi-Fi, a minibar, a hairdryer, a kettle, tea and coffee, and a television. Reception is open around the clock. An airport transfer can be arranged on request. Guests must be over 16. Bookings are limited to 4 rooms.

Setting

French-Khmer architecture from the 1920s, across from Wat Botum. Four period buildings: a former residence of the Royal Palace's chief veterinarian, a former senator's residence, and the Sun-Pool Villa, former lodgings for diplomats. Within walking distance of the Royal Palace, the National Museum and the riverside. The website says the hotel was listed among the best Phnom Penh hotels in the Michelin Guide in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
