Itacate is one of the most popular Mexican spots in Phnom Penh. Located in the trendy area of BKK1, the restaurant attracts expatriates and travellers seeking generous comfort food, a festive atmosphere, and exceptional margaritas.

The menu (meals or combos around 5–10 USD): hearty burritos, quesadillas, fajitas, chimichangas, and loaded nachos. Star tacos include al pastor, chorizo, and shrimp. All dishes are homemade based on classic recipes. There’s a dedicated vegetarian and vegan section featuring vegan ceviche, sweet potato tacos, and dairy-free burritos.

Bar: pottery lemonades, craft beers, frozen or on-the-rocks margaritas, and mezcalitas.

Taco Tuesday — crispy or soft tacos at 1.50 USD all night (reservation recommended).
