Grand Phnom Penh Golf Club

The Grand Phnom Penh Golf Club is a championship 18-hole (Par 72) course located about 20 minutes northwest of Phnom Penh's city centre, near the international airport. Designed by Nicklaus Design and opened in 2009 (or 2012 according to sources), it is part of a large real estate development managed by the Chip Mong group.

The course is known for being flat yet technically challenging due to the often-present winds and numerous water hazards. It stretches from 5,200 yards (red tees) to about 7,914 yards (black tees). While the fairways are generous, the areas around the greens feature mounds and complex shaping that can punish inaccuracies. A key hole is the massive par 5 17th, which requires a carry over water.

Although the course is well-loved, the "off-course" facilities have been critiqued for their temporary nature, with a new clubhouse under construction for several years. Registration currently takes place in a kiosk or temporary container, and the changing rooms are located a few hundred metres from the starting point in a converted residence. The practice area includes a driving range with floating balls hit towards a lake.
