The consular section handles the administration of French citizens (passports, identity cards, civil status, elections) and operates by appointment. For general inquiries (excluding visas), the France Consular service can be reached at +855 (0)23 96 25 38.
Regarding visas, application submissions are no longer made directly at the embassy; they are handled by the TLScontact centre located at Vattanac Capital Tower.
The site also has significant historical importance: in April 1975, the embassy served as a last refuge for many foreigners and Cambodians. Its park, one of the largest green spaces in central Phnom Penh, occasionally opens to the public during Heritage Days in September.
