The bamboo train (norry)

The bamboo platform on wagon wheels, powered by a motorcycle engine — a ride of about 4–6 km round trip near O Dambong (southeast of the city). Current price 5–8 USD per person; tuk-tuk from the center takes about 15–20 min.

Phnom Banan

11th-century temple at the top of 358 steps: architecture similar to Angkor, with significantly fewer crowds. Plan for about an hour on-site including the climb.

Phnom Sampeau (often in the evening)

Killing Caves, panoramic views, then the departure of the bats at dusk. Often visited after Banan; some tours combine all three sites.
