Mexicano is a refreshing taste of authentic Mexican cuisine.

It is headed by Chef Mario Galan Ibarra, a native of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, who has worked as a chef all over Mexico and Singapore.

The restaurant boasts of homemade tortillas, which are essential to any good taco.
The tacos at Mexicano are simply outstanding.
The restaurant offers two types of tacos - carnitas and al pastor.
The carnitas are slow-cooked fatty pork, which is crisped at the edges for the perfect texture.
It is cooked for 18 hours, and the result is sensational.

The al pastor is pork marinated with dried chili, spices, achiote, and pineapple juice. The pork is so delicious that it can bring a person to tears. The tacos are served with chopped raw onion, cilantro, and salsa on the side.
The al pastor tacos also have a slice of grilled pineapple on top.
This simplicity is what makes these tacos authentic.
