La Ferme de Bassac
French bistro, charcuterie, and butchery on Street 178 — a farm-to-table concept since 2011, with antibiotic-free livestock from a partner farm in Cambodia.
La Ferme de Bassac is a beloved French bistro, charcuterie, and butchery located in the heart of Phnom Penh. Established in 2011 by a French farmer and a former chef from the French Embassy, it offers authentic countryside cuisine, featuring livestock from a partner farm in Cambodia, raised without antibiotics.
The bistro. Generous brasserie classics and house-made meats — typical meals 10–15 USD. Charcuterie boards (pâtés, rillettes, cured meats, imported cheeses), steaks, duck confit, beef carpaccio, and farm pork. Integrated bakery: baguettes, croissants, and savoury quiches.
Butchery & fine grocery. Premium cuts, house-made merguez and sausages, takeaway dishes — neighbourhood delivery for hot meals and butcher products.

We enjoyed the merguez and a baguette from the counter, followed by a charcuterie board and duck confit — truly authentic French countryside cuisine, with meat you can trust.
